    1. So far, I have made 7 caps (different colors and patterns) to take to the Cancer Center. I sure hope they give someone warmth this winter. I have enjoyed making them. My sister went thru Chemo and said it’s cold in those rooms.

  1. What color is this yarn? And where did you buy it? I like the look. Having a hard time finding something similar at our local hobby stores. Unless you have a recommendation. Thanks! I am a beginner and this would be my first hat. It looks fun!

  2. I followed your video and crocheted the amount of stitches you stated. My beanie is 12″ long. My daughter is very tall and thin. I think it’s going to be too much beanie for her. LOL Could it be because I used Lion Brand Vel-Luxe yarn? I also used a size K hook.
I enjoyed following your video and learning as I go. Now I’m off to study your beanie size chart.

    1. Hi! Yes, that’s why it turned out big πŸ™‚ If the circumference of the beanie is fine, you can just take out a few rounds from the top and then sew it. Hope that helps!!

  3. I really love this pattern. I just finished one and will be making more. I removed a couple rows and it’s perfect for my teenage grandson who asked for a beanie. Thanks Breann!

  4. I made this today for a friend. She is losing her hair due to chemotherapy. She had the yarn and asked me to use this pattern. Easy to follow. Thank you for helping me to help my friend. Would love to include a picture but I can’t figure that out.
