I made these Three Autumn Leaves Crochet Pattern for a fall garland. I made three of each leaf pattern in three different colors. I love the colorful addition they made to my garland!
PATTERN
Materials
Worsted weight (4) yarn – I used I Love This Yarn in Cranberry, Mid Green and Terra Cotta
5.0 mm hook
Yarn needle

Pattern Notes & Stitches to Know
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble
magic ring
picot – ch 3, sl st back in the first in the first chain
LEAF #1
Make a magic ring
Round 1: sc 6 into ring, pull ring closed, join to first sc with sl st (6 sc)
Round 2: ch 1, 2 sc in each stitch around, join to first sc with sl st (12 sc)
Round 3: *ch 2, skip stitch, sl st in next* repeat from * to * 4 more times, sc in last stitch, join to first ch 2 space with sl st (5 ch 2 spaces, 1 sc)
Round 4: ch 1, 5 sc each ch 2 space around, sc in last stitch, join to first sc with sl st (26 sc)
Round 5: ch 1, *sc, (2 hdc) in next, dc, (2 hdc) in next, sc* repeat from * to * 4 more times, sc in last stitch, join to first sc with sl st (36 stitches)
Round 6: ch 1, *sc, hdc, dc, (tr, picot, tr) all in next, dc, hdc, sc* repeat from * to * 4 more times, sc in last stitch, (now you will make the stem) ch 6, sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in each back towards the leaf, join back into sc with sl st, join to first sc with sl st (41 stitches in the leaf, 5 sc in the stem)
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
LEAF #2
Ch 13
Round 1: sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in the next 10, 3 sc in the last stitch, now working along the opposite side of the chain, sc in the next 10, 2 sc in the last, join to first sc with sl st (26 sc)
Round 2: ch 1, sc in 12 stitches, 3 sc in next, sc in next 12 stitches, 3 sc in last, join to first sc with sl st (30 sc)
Round 3: ch 1, *(sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) all in next, skip one stitch, sl st in next, skip one stitch* repeat from * to * 3 more times, do not skip a stitch and work (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc) in the next 2 stitches, skip one stitch and repeat from * to * 3 times, sc in last stitch, ch 6, sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in each back towards the leaf, join back into sc with sl st, join to first sc with sl st (46 stitches in the leaf, 5 sc in the stem)
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
LEAF #3
Ch 11
Round 1: sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in the next 2, hdc in the next 3, dc in the next 3, 6 dc in the last, now you will be working on the opposite side of the chain, dc in next 3, hdc in the next 3, sc in next 3, join to first sc with sl st (24 stitches)
Round 2: ch 1, sc in 2 stitches, hdc in the next 6, dc in the next 2, (2 dc) in the next 4 stitches, dc in next 2, hdc in next 6 stitches, sc in the next 2, sc in the joining chain from previous row, ch 6, sc in 2nd chain from the hook and in each back towards the leaf, join back into sc with sl st, join to first sc with sl st (29 stitches for the leaf, 5 sc for the stem)
Fasten off, weave in the ends.
