This cute top is part of a collection I made of summer tops inspired by fruit! I made a Pineapple Tank Top for my oldest (get the pattern HERE).

Both tops are written in sizes S – L (6 – 12) in young girls and are too fun! I just love how they turned out and I know you will, too!  Plus, it’s an easy pattern that only uses basic crochet stitches, too! BONUS! I labeled it intermediate, but it’s a lower intermediate pattern. If you know how to double crochet and single crochet, you will be able to make this adorable summer tank top.

  1. Hi love the fruity theme tank tops ie Pineapple, Watermelon and would love the Strawberry one as I have 3 little girls I would love to make them for. Thanks for the patterns

  2. Hello!
I wanted to ask you about this crochet watermelon top. I have loved making this pattern!!
The completed top feels kinda heavy. I’m using the same yarn weight. So I would love to hear if this was an issue. Or if you have any tips in case I need to do something different.
    Thank you so much!!

      1. Thank you for responding so quickly! Would I have to make adjustments for sizing if I used a 3 weight cotton yarn? Would you recommend using a 3 weight or dk light?
        Thank you!!
        Jess
