- Hook: 5.0 mm (H)
- Construction: Granny squares + half squares, joined to form a triangle

About the Design
This bandana is made by combining full daisy granny squares with half squares to shape the triangle. If you’ve never made a half granny square before—don’t worry—it’s much easier than it sounds and gives the bandana that clean, tapered edge.
Once your pieces are joined, you’ll add:
- A soft ruffled border for a feminine touch
- Simple ties so you can adjust the fit perfectly
The result is a comfortable, breathable bandana that stays in place and looks adorable from every angle.

Yarn Notes
For this pattern, I recommend worsted weight cotton yarn because:
- It’s lightweight and breathable
- Holds its shape well
- Perfect for warm weather wear
You can also get creative with color combinations:
- Classic white petals + yellow centers
- Soft pastels for a spring vibe
- Bold colors for a fun statement piece
Sizing
This pattern includes two sizes:
- Child – slightly smaller triangle and shorter ties
- Adult – fuller coverage with longer ties
The adjustable ties make it easy to customize the fit even further.
Why You’ll Love This Pattern
- Quick and satisfying project
- Great stash buster
- Beginner-friendly with video support
- Perfect handmade gift idea
- Stylish AND practical

- ch 3 counts as dc in round 1 & round 3 (noted in pattern)
- ch 2 does not count as dc
- ch 4 counts as dc + ch 1
- These bandanas are made with flower granny squares and triangles joined together to make a triangular bandana.

- Gauge is listed, but it isn’t important for this pattern. Use as a general guideline
- To make a size smaller of each, go down a hook size.
Gauge: each square = 4″ x 4″
