This is Part 8 of the Stitch Sampler Scrapghan CAL and that means we’re now halfway done! This week is the Suzette Stitch. This is one of my favorite stitches and I’ve used it in quite a few patterns, like the Tweed Cardi, Claret Scarf, and the Cozy Cropped Sweater.

Easy -you must be very familiar with basic crochet stitches
Pattern notes & stitches to know
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
Ch 1 does not count as sc

Join yarn to end of row 46
Row 47: ch 1, turn, (sc, dc) in first stitch, *skip 1 stitch, (sc, dc) in next stitch* repeat from * to * across to last 2 stitches, skip 1 stitch, sc in last stitch (169)
Row 48: ch 1, turn, (sc, dc) in first stitch, *skip next dc, (sc, dc) in next sc* repeat from * to * across to last 2 stitches, skip 1 stitch, sc in last stitch (169)
Repeat row 48 to Row 54 (169)
Fasten off. Weave in the ends or add fringe.
