The Blossom Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern is made by sewing these fun and pretty flower hexagons together. Of course, this blanket can easily be made in any size by adding more hexagons.

Let’s talk yarn! For this pattern I used a worsted weight acrylic yarn, Mighty Stitch from WeCrochet. Any worsted weight yarn would work for this project. I used less than one 100g skein of each color to complete a baby blanket size. If the blanket were to be made larger, more than one skein is needed.

  1. Lovely Pattern as usual. Hate to be a critic but you made 2 same row. Some beginners might get confused.
Row 6: ch 3, turn, dc in next 4 stitches, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, *dc in next 8 stitches, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space , ch 3* repeat from * to * 1 more time to last 5 stitches, dc in last 5 stitches (26 dc, 6 ch-3 spaces, 3 sc)

  2. I am totally confused on the half hexagon

Row 8: ch 3, turn, dc in next, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3 *dc2tog, dc in next 4, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3* repeat from * to * 1 more time to last 4 stitches, dc2tog, dc in last 2 stitches (14 dc, 12 ch-3 spaces, 9 sc)

But if you look @ row 7 there are 9 ch 3 spaces but row 8 only addresses sc two times not three times in each section, Also Row 8 has dc2tog dc in next four and dc2tog when there are only six dc to work with (total of 20 dc from Row seven = 4 at beginning 6 in 2 middle sections and 4 at end)

Row 7: ch 3, turn, dc in next 2 stitches, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, *dc2tog, dc in next 4, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3* repeat from * to * 1 more time to last 5 stitches, dc2tog, dc in last 3 stitches (20 dc, 9 ch-3 spaces, 6 sc)

What am I missing or not reading correctly

    1. Hi! You are right, so sorry about that!!! Row 8 should read–
Row 8: ch 3, turn, dc in next, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3 *dc2tog, dc in next 2, dc2tog, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3, sc in ch-3 space, ch 3* repeat from * to * 1 more time to last 4 stitches, dc2tog, dc in last 2 stitches

      Thank you 🙂
