Worsted weight yarn
J/6.0 mm hook
Yarn needle
Scissors

ch – chain
dc – double crochet
fpdc – front post double crochet

· written in US terms

· ch 2 does not count as dc

NOTE: The written pattern is slightly modified from the what is pictured above. The vertical lines in the waffle texture will not be as prominent as pictured.

PART 8 – WAFFLE STITCH

Join yarn to end of row 66

Row 67: ch 2, turn, dc in each stitch across (121 dc)

Row 68: ch 2, turn, dc in first 3 stitches, fpdc in next, *dc in next 2 stitches, fpdc in next* repeat from * to * across to last 3 stitches, dc in last 3 (121)

Row 69: ch 2, turn, dc in first stitch, fpdc in next 2 stitches, dc in next, *fpdc in next 2 stitches, dc in next* repeat from * to * across to last 3 stitches, fpdc in next 2, dc in last (121)

Repeat rows 68 & 69 to Row 74 (121)

Fasten off. Weave in the ends.
