The first stitch for the Stitch Sampler Scrapghan is the Granny Spike Stitch! It's a lot like the classic granny stripe, but it has an added spike stitch which adds some texture and dimension.

  1. do you have written instruction for the spike stitch. i have tried to follow you on your vido, and i understand it fine, but i cannot keep up with up, so if i have the written instruction i might do better.

  2. Instructions for part 1 say to repeat rows 3&4 to row 9. Does it end with row 3 which would be row 9, or with row 4 which would be row 8?

  3. I get your newsletters, but I am unable to access your CAL instructions. How can I resolve this dilemma? I would love to make this Latrobe.

    1. Hi! I’m not sure what you mean. Are you getting the email about the CAL? There is a link to download the pattern in the middle of each blog post.

  4. I have started this sampler and I love it. I am printing the directions as I go from one pattern to the next. Suddenly, the only thing that prints is the picture of the stitch. What has happened.
