The Waffle Stitch is one of my favorites! I absolutely love the pattern it creates. For this poncho I used Stylecraft Special Aran in the color Parchment. You can use any worsted weight yarn for this pattern.

  1. Breann , I made this poncho to 52 rows but it barely fit – please advise. I5 was for size small/medium

    Thanks Ellen Fransz

    1. Hi! Sorry about that! Somehow the pattern here didn’t copy correctly from the PDF. The number of rows is updated. It should be 112.

  2. Love most of your creations, very talented. I’m 66 and just getting into crochet, every time I make something it is way to big. Tried smaller hook , different yarn and I crochet a little tight. Please Help
