  1. I love your posts Breanne and read them religiously. As a community volunteer in my low to moderate income neighbourhood I crochet hats, mittens and blankies for the needy every season (I eat up your toque patterns). Winters in Ottawa Canada are very very cold!! I buy some of the yarn myself and occasionally top up my supply by making requests for donations on Facebook. People have been generous in the past but I always seem to need more yarn as Canada’s Capital city continues to open its doors and welcome new immigrants and refugees. Many of them have no idea how bitterly cold Canadian winters are…and long too =O

        1. Thanks Breanne. It was awesome that I found your Facebook page just a little before you started the CAL of this year. I learned a lot from you as I am quite new to crochet and I enjoyed your patterens very much.

        2. One of these days, months, years I might win one of these raffles. I would love to win and get a bit more yarn!

      1. Thank you so very much for this yarn giveaway. Its coming at an awesome time. My SOs niece is a crocheter but she also asked me to teach her to knit. I would dearly love to win one of giveaways, to give to her as even more encouragement to learn another skill. Its taken a long time to get her this far. Positivity comes from so many different directions. Again, thank you for all you do and share here.

  22. I’m a knitter and a wanna be crocheter who crafts in spare minutes here and there when children are asleep or at school. I’m slowly trying to teach myself to crochet but when it comes down to it, knitting is faster and easier so I switch back. Some day. In the meantime, I enjoy looking at your projects and patterns.

  23. I would love to help you de-stash. I facilitate a group of ladies at our Senior Center. I bring yarn for those who don’t have any with them, also loan crochet hooks from my collection. I have provided patterns from your chemo hat CAL and we make hats to take to our local chemo infusion unit, as well as tiny hats for a nearby hospital’s NICU and pediatric unit. Any hats done in a not-as-soft yarn will be donated to our FIT (Families In Transition) Closet organized by our school district. The ladies love your easy patterns and variety!

  24. Love your posts, patterns and yarn. Also love following you on Instagram and seeing the stories that you post.

  25. Thanks for the chance!! I could really use this since I live to make hats for charity and today started the new 30 days cancer challenge with sweet potato 3! Since I’m a shut-in its very hard for me to get yarn. So this would be an awesome blessing! ??
