  1. I love your posts Breanne and read them religiously. As a community volunteer in my low to moderate income neighbourhood I crochet hats, mittens and blankies for the needy every season (I eat up your toque patterns). Winters in Ottawa Canada are very very cold!! I buy some of the yarn myself and occasionally top up my supply by making requests for donations on Facebook. People have been generous in the past but I always seem to need more yarn as Canada’s Capital city continues to open its doors and welcome new immigrants and refugees. Many of them have no idea how bitterly cold Canadian winters are…and long too =O

        1. Thanks Breanne. It was awesome that I found your Facebook page just a little before you started the CAL of this year. I learned a lot from you as I am quite new to crochet and I enjoyed your patterens very much.

        2. One of these days, months, years I might win one of these raffles. I would love to win and get a bit more yarn!

      1. Thank you so very much for this yarn giveaway. Its coming at an awesome time. My SOs niece is a crocheter but she also asked me to teach her to knit. Positivity comes from so many different directions. Again, thank you for all you do and share here.

Any hats done in a not-as-soft yarn will be donated to our FIT (Families In Transition) Closet organized by our school district. The ladies love your easy patterns and variety!
