HOW TO CROCHET THE FALLING LEAVES STITCH VIDEO TUTORIAL

Ch 2

Row 1: starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, fsc 33 (or any mult of 4 + 1) (33 sc)

Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch across (33 sc)

Row 3: ch 2, turn, dc in 4 stitches, lfpCL in next, *dc in next 3 stitches, lfpCL in next* repeat from * to * across to last 4 stitches, dc in last 4 (33)

Row 4: ch 1, turn, sc in each stitch across (33 sc)

Row 5: ch 2, turn, dc in 2 stitches, lfpCL in next, *dc in 3 stitches, lfpCL in next* repeat from * to * across to last 2 stitches, dc in last 2 (33)

Row 6: ch 1, turn sc in each stitch around, join to first sc with sl st (33 sc)

Row 7 – Row 168: repeat rows 3 – 6

Or until desired length

TWISTED FRINGE

HOW TO CROCHET TWISTED FRINGE

ch 1, turn,

*sl st in sc, and continue to pull the yarn until the loop is approx. the length of a crochet hook (about 6”).

Twist the 6” loop towards you 15 times.

Fold twisted loop in half, sl st to the same stitch*

Repeat from * to * in each sc across the bottom.

Fasten off, weave in the ends.

Join yarn to other end of scarf and repeat.
