About the Lemon Peel Stitch

The lemon peel stitch is created by alternating single crochet and double crochet stitches. This easy stitch combination creates subtle texture that is perfect for dishcloths, washcloths, and other home projects.

Because this pattern is worked corner to corner, the dishcloth grows diagonally to the widest point before decreasing back down to the final corner.
