About the Pattern
This crochet scrunchie is worked directly around a hair elastic, creating a stretchy and secure finished accessory. The base is made with single crochet stitches before adding airy lace sections made from double crochet stitches, chains, and v stitches. A scalloped border finishes the edges for a soft decorative touch.
Because this project uses cotton yarn, the scrunchie has great structure while still feeling lightweight and comfortable in your hair. It’s perfect for everyday wear, summer accessories, or quick handmade gifts.

Thank you for the pattern and video. I noticed the V stitch says, “vst – V stitch – (dc, ch 1 sc)” when it should be “vst – V stitch – (dc, ch 1 dc).
Thank you! Fixed!
