How to Crochet the Net Filet Stitch

Today I wanted to share with you a quick photo tutorial of the Crochet Net Filet Stitch. It’s a very easy stitch with a simple 1 row repeat. This is the stitch I used for the Urban Chic Cocoon Sweater. It’s a great stitch for summer and spring patterns because of the open and airy design. I’d love to make a swim suit cover or a summer cowl with this stitch!

Will I need to make this shorter. I want it to be just below My butt? Would love your input. I love this pattern

    1. Hi! I’m 5’0″ so it won’t be much longer on you. You can take out rows to make it shorter.

  2. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I need to get my yarn. Do you think cotton yarn would be a good choice, like hobby lobby I love this cotton

    1. Yes, it would work! It might make the gauge larger because that’s a category 4 yarn and I used a category 3 πŸ™‚
