H/5.0 mm hook
Yarn needle

fpdc – front post double crochet

Join to a corner

Round 1: ch 1, *(2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) all in corner stitch, work 30 sc evenly across to ch-2, sc in ch-2, skip popcorn, sc in ch-2, work 30 sc evenly across to corner* repeat from * to * around, join to first sc with sl st (264 sc)

Round 2: sl st to ch-1 space, *(sc, ch 2, sc) in ch-1 space, sc in each stitch across* repeat from * to * around, join to first sc with sl st (272 sc)

Round 3: sl st to ch-2 space, *(2 sc, ch 1, sc) in ch-2 space, sc in next 13 stitches, skip 2, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next, skip 2, sc in next 14, skip 2, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in next, skip 2, sc in next 14, skip 2, (dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, dc) in  next, skip 2, sc in remaining 12 stitches* repeat from * to * around, join to first sc with sl st (224 sc, 60 dc)

  1. I saw a pattern where the square started out as 4 circles of dbl crocheting I can’t find it . Would you happen to have it?

  2. I crochet tighter than you do and my project is looking really small … would you suggest going 1 or 2 hooks bigger

  3. Is there a typo in the Round 3 corner stitch? With a 2sc, ch, sc corner, it’s making the corners curl after the next few rounds. Or my stitch count is off?
