(CAL) Southwest Granny Square Blanket Crochet Pattern Part 1

February 26, 2018

It’s finally time to start the CAL for the Southwest Granny Square Blanket Crochet Pattern! I hope you’re as excited as I am! More details about crochet alongs and the materials are posted HERE.

Southwest Granny Square Blanket Crochet Pattern

I had so much fun creating and making this blanket and I can’t wait to see what colors you all have chosen. As I said in the previous post, I used Red Heart Soft Essentials. It’s a category 5 yarn, but I think a category 4 yarn would work just fine. My squares ended up being about 5″x 5″ after blocking.

The colors are going to be released row by row. So that makes 12 squares per week with 12 weeks of making squares. Then 2 weeks for seaming, weaving in ends, and the border. So let’s get started!
