Pattern notes & stitches to know
ch – chain

· This pattern uses sc blo for sewing. You can use any joining method you prefer for sewing your squares.

PART 13 – SEWING

Lay the squares out in a 4 x 6, right side up.

Sew down all the squares vertically, then sew across horizontally.

Using stitch markers, line up the squares as evenly as possible (due to the nature of the squares for the CAL they don’t all have the same number of stitches on each side – make it as even as possible)

Join yarn to the top two stitches, ch 1, sc blo the squares together.

Continue stitching the squares together with sc blo

If two squares that are being sewn together have a different number of stitches on each side, double up on a couple stitches on the shorter side (keeping it as even as possible)

Work this way all the way down each square vertically. Then work across horizontally.

Fasten off. Weave in all the ends.

And that’s it for Part 13! See you next Friday for our last week! 🙂
