About the Diamond Stitch

The Diamond Stitch creates a geometric texture that feels both classic and modern. It has just enough pattern to keep things interesting without being overwhelming, making it a great stitch to start our sampler blanket.

Why this stitch works so well for Part 1:

  • Builds confidence right from the start
  • Creates beautiful texture without complicated counting
  • Looks great in solids, variegated yarns, or scraps
  • Lays flat and works well as a foundation section

This stitch also gives your blanket a strong, eye-catching beginning that flows nicely into the stitches we’ll be adding in future weeks.
