August 27, 2017

Is anyone else ready for everything pumpkin? I sure am! Including the pumpkin pockets in this Super Scarf with Pumpkin Pockets Crochet Pattern! This super scarf is seriously super and can be worn in a few different ways. It certainly is warm & cozy! What better way to keep your fingers warm while waiting for your Pumpkin Spice Latte?! YUM! We wait all year for it to come… and it’s worth the wait. I don’t think I want to know how many I consume in the fall months.

With your yarn needle use the long tail to sew the second pumpkin to the end, Start with the 6th stitch from the center of the pumpkin, making sure to line up each stitch

POCKETS

Make 2 pumpkins using pumpkin yarn

Fasten off, weave in the ends.

Leaf (make 2)

Using Grass

Ch 5

Working across, sl st in first ch from hook, sl st in next, sc, hdc, 3 hdc in next

Now working across the opposite side of the chain

Fasten off, weave in the first tail, leave the second one for sewing

Sew the stems and leaves to the orange pumpkins

Lay the orange pumpkins on top of the ivory, wrong side out. Using a piece of yarn twice the length your going to sew and a yarn needle, whipstitch the pieces together, leaving an open space at the top for pockets. Make sure to line up the stitches all the way around.

Fasten off, weave in your ends. Turn right side out.
