CONSTRUCTION

I used sewing pins to place the trees where I wanted them. Then (I totally cheated) and hot glued them to the wreath. Then I placed the hammock in between the trees, pinned it, then glued it.

With the white yarn start to write “Life’s a” on the top of the wreath. Pin it down as you go. When you’re happy with it, glue it down. I kept some of the pins in until the glue was dry.

Do the same for the bottom of the wreath writing “Beach”.

  1. I love this! Makes me wish I could crochet! What a fun piece of coastal decor! Thanks for partying with us at Snickerdoodle. Pinning.

  2. Hi Breann,
I,m crocheting your life s a beach wreath for my daughter who will be forty very soon. I know she will love it as much as I do.
So far it’s turning out great. I’m having a little problem with the hammock. It just doesn,t hang like yours and wants to curl slightly. Yours looks like you crocheted it as a spiral. Please help as I’m almost finished and want it to be perfect.

Thank you for a great free pattern.
    Kathy
