These little Crochet Hearts are so darling and so easy! They can be added to hats, scarves, toys, wreaths… there are so many possibilities with this applique.
PATTERN
Materials:
worsted weight (4) yarn
5.0 mm hook
yarn needle
scissors
Level: easy/beginner
Pattern Notes & Stitches to Know:
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
tr – treble crochet
magic ring
LARGE HEART
Large heart measures approximately 2,5 inches across the widest part
Start with a magic ring
NOTE: all stitches will be into the magic ring
Ch 3, 3 tr, 3 dc, ch 1, tr, ch 1, 3 dc, 3 tr, ch 3, sl st into ring
Pull ring closed tight. Fasten off weave in the ends.
MEDIUM HEART
Medium heart measures approximately 2 inches across at the widest point
Start with a magic ring
NOTE: all stitches will be into the magic ring
Ch 2, 3 dc, 3 hdc, ch 1, dc, ch 1, 3 hdc, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st into ring
Pull ring closed tight. Fasten off weave in the ends.
SMALL HEART
Small heart measures approximately 1.5 inches across at the widest point
Start with a magic ring
NOTE: all stitches will be into the magic ring
Ch 1, 3 hdc, 3 sc, ch 1, hdc, ch 1, 3 sc, 3 hdc, ch 1, sl st into ring
Pull ring closed tight. Fasten off weave in the ends.
